Recipe For How I completed It:
I began by taking a the measurements of the black box and creating a box in inventor around it. Then, I took that box and expanded the walls, the put a hole in the bottom. I milled this shape from foam, but I had to redo the mill because the foam was not think enough. I milled the foam and put the black box in, then I laser engraved an old fashioned record design onto a piece of mat-board and laser-cut the circle out and a circle out of the middle. I went over to illustrator and used the expand image feature to design a logo from an image for the band "The Who". Then I cut that logo out of vinyl on the vinyl cutter and applied the decal to the mat-board. I attached the mat-board record with the vinyl decal to the foam base to finish the design.

Summary Paragraph
Though out this project, I learned about the value of measuring foam to make sure it fits dimensions before the using the mill. I learned about the ways in which three different machines interact. I learned about the image trace tool in Illustrator and how different designs in Inventor affect the way Fusion 360 interprets the data. One BIG lesson I learned the hard way is how long the laser can take for big designs. I became much more proficient in Fusion 360 too. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty productive project.
